ASL Web Sources

These are all sites where you can get free access to ASL – mostly fingerspelling and words. While I recommend taking ASL from teachers who are Deaf or HoH and a part of the Deaf Community, these video sites are certainly the next best thing to being there for those who really can’t be there.

Signing Savvy

Start American Sign Language

There are, of course, paid versions as iPhone Apps and you can get a yearly subscription to Signing Savvy which makes it a bit easier to access with direct searches, terms not offered to the general public, and the ability to classify certain terms as the same or similar.

Nominations of other good sites gratefully accepted. 🙂
